Our friends at Campina Curling have invited members of the SECC to participate in the 2022 edition of their New Year’s Cup, in Belgium on January 8th & 9th. The club are based at the Belgian Curling Center in Zemst, near Mechelen, and organize a fantastic weekend of curling! One SECC team have already registered, so if you would like to put together your own team and join in the registration form can be found here. You may have to translate the page to English unless you are fluent in Flemish!
Campina Curling is happy to announce their third international bonspiel. From January 7th until January 9th, 16 teams will compete against each other in the Belgian Curling Center in Zemst.
Zemst is a small village between Brussels (25km) and Mechelen (8km). Zaventem Airport is only 16 km away.
Unfortunately, the virus isn’t defeated and we want a bonspiel in the most safe conditions. To participate, teams are asked to show a Covid Safe Ticket at the beginning of the tournament.
Start: Friday January 7th, 18.00h. You may actually have met some of the Belgian players before. Our friends at Campina Curling have previously played with the SECC in England, as participants in the Kent & Sussex Bonspiel.
