Dear SECC Members,
We are running a predictions competition (thanks so much Mark Foley for the idea) for the upcoming Scotties Tournament Of Hearts, the Women’s National Championships for Canadian Curling.
Choose 8 teams from a field of 18, and see how many points you get based on their results.
The Scotties runs from Feb 19th to Feb 28th. Each draw, one game is uploaded onto YouTube and can be watched on the “Curling Canada” YouTube channel. While it’s not the same as being on the ice, watching curling is a great way to enjoy the game and learn more about the sport. Look at different techniques, learn about strategy, and enjoy watching some of the best players in the world.

This is just a bit of fun, but the winner of our SECC Scotties Prediction Competition will earn themselves a nice little trophy!
If you would like to take part, please submit your picks here before the end of the day Friday Feb 19th.
If this proves successful, we may run another competition for The Brier (the Men’s Championships for Canadian Curling) in March.
